2. Skippi Ice Pops

The company’s products don’t contain any artificial ingredients because it cares about the health of its customers. 

Vineeta made an investment in the startup company, with around INR 20 lakhs in exchange for 3% equity in the company. 

3. CosIQ

CosIQ is a skincare brand that was founded in the year 2020. The company creates products that are tested and driven by research to enhance the texture of the skin.The company sells a variety of products that give customers noticeable results, including sunscreen and serums.

Vineeta made an investment in the company with the amount of INR 25 lakhs for 12.5% equity of the company. 

4. Booz

Vineeta made an investment in the startup company with around INR of 20 lakhs in exchange of 25% equity in the company.

5. NOCD

NOCD was founded in the year 2018, it is a healthy drink brand. The brand sells sugar-free, vitamin-enriched, healthy energy drinks that are low in carbohydrates. The brand’s beverages are said to increase metabolism, burn body fat, and give you energy.  

Vineeta was an investment in the company with about INR 20 lakhs for 15% equity in exchange of the company and 30 lakhs debt.

6. BluePine Foods

BluePine Foods was founded in the year 2016, the company is a creative Himalayan food startup. The company sells a variety of goods, including frozen spring rolls and momos. The products of the startup are of excellent quality, taste, nutrition, and health. 

Vineeta funded the company with an investment of around  INR 25 lakhs in exchange for 5.3% equity in the company.

7. Sunfox Technologies

Sunfox Technologies was founded in 2016. The business is a medical technology research and development firm that uses artificial intelligence and computer-aided engineering to create portable, low-tech, and reasonably priced devices.  The company manufactures portable, diagnostic ECG devices. This allows customers to conveniently and affordably check for illnesses

Vineeta made an investment in the company of around INR 20 lakhs in exchange of 1.2% equity of the company.

8. Wakao Foods

Wakao Foods was founded in 2013, is India’s first brand that makes products from jackfruit. The company sells naturally grown plant-based products that can be cooked or eaten right away. The company creates nutritious and sustainable foods that eventually help people form healthy habits. 

Vineeta made a deal in the company with other sharks where she made an investment of INR 25 lakhs in exchange for 7% equity of the company.

9. Get-A-Whey

Get-A-Whey was founded in the years 2018 and is a healthy ice cream brand. The brand’s ice creams are protein-enriched and contain no added sugar or calories. They also have a line of keto-friendly products.

Vineeta made an investment in the company along with other sharks like Aman Gupta and Ashneer Grover, where her investment of INR 33.3 lakhs in exchange of 3% equity of the company.

Vineeta Career: Journey from Rs 1 Crore Job to Rs 4100 Company

  • In 2006, Vineeta started her professional career as an intern at Deutsche Bank while obtaining her MBA. During the time of internship got the Rs.1 crore annual salary but she turned it down. She had originally intended to launch a lingerie company with a fellow graduate, but they were unable to secure the necessary capital.
  • In 2007, Vinita started her first company, Quetzal, to provide background checks to recruiters. Sadly, the company failed, primarily because people were hesitant to work with her due to her youth and inexperience. 
  • In 2012, she started her second company, Fab-Bag, a subscription service that ships cosmetics every month. After recognizing the need for affordable, high-quality beauty products for Indian women, she and her husband, Kaushik Mukherjee, founded SUGAR Cosmetics in 2015.
  • The company targets a variety of skin tones with its cosmetics and personal care products, which are suited for the Indian market. 
  • In a matter of years, SUGAR Cosmetics gained popularity among Indian women. Once she secured a $50 million deal with private equity firm L Catterton, she concentrated on catering to the preferences of women with varying skin tones.
  • In 2022, Bollywood star Ranveer Singh became a shareholder and “brand evangelist” for SUGAR Cosmetics, joining the board of the company. Vineeta is one of India’s most prosperous female entrepreneurs, despite obstacles in her path.
  • In 2023, Bollywood actress Karina Kapoor Khan and Vineeta launched the Korean skincare brand Quench Botanics.
